All spur of the moment, but I wanted something different, name-wise that is.

3 years ago, my boyfriend and I entered universities on opposite sides of the US. Since then, I’ve kept telling him that he’d be happier with someone closer. Yesterday, after not seeing him since before our first year, he showed up at my dorm. To propose. Love that survived 2000 miles GMH.

Today I found out that my friends volunteers at the local soup kitchen four to five times a week. What’s amazing about this is that his family can’t afford to feed him some nights. When I asked why he does it, he said, “All people deserve something to eat.” His caring and understanding GMH.

A four-year-old abused orphan boy came up to a young woman during a charity event. He said, “I wish I have you to care for me. I know I’ll be happy always.” The woman was only 20 years old. A year later, the boy celebrated his fifth birthday in the woman’s home. Tanner, Mommy loves you. Your constant faith GMH.

I went to Africa to help build an Orphan school when I saw a kid sitting on his own. I walked up and gave him half of my sandwich, and he ran away. Secretly following him around the corner, I saw him break it into small pieces and share it with his whole class of 20. Sharing the little he had GMH.
I just did so much English homework. I feel quite accomplished.
Kind of feeling ready for graduation now.

I work with a guy named Matt who isn’t exactly easy to get along with. However, his blood type is extremely rare, and has made sure that local donation centers have his phone number. He donates blood as often as possible, and when asked why, always says “It’s for babies.” His selflessness, even hidden, GMH.
So last night was prom.
It was fun and I loved the hype of getting dressed up and going to dinner and all that.
The music was slightly lame though. Hard to dance to because it was medium tempo, so not really fast paced enough to get moving to. [That sounds so stupid..]
& the guy I like [and he liked me] was dancing with his ex the whole time. It was slightly frustrating.

My brother was diagnosed with autism when he was 3. The doctors told my mother he would never learn properly and be labeled “mentally retarded.” After 14 years of my mother’s determination and love, my brother is going to graduate, with Honors, and will walk the down the aisle. That GMH.

2 yrs ago, at my daughter’s wedding, her alcoholic, violent x-boyfriend stormed in with a knife. Before anyone could stop him, he slashed at her. Her fiancee took the slash. After being rushed to hospital, he went into a coma. She stayed with him night and day. Eventually he woke up. Yesterday, they welcomed Ciara and Josh into the world. Their LGMH

I was always depressed. I had left a suicide note for my best friend to find. I was about to jump off a bridge when he showed up with seven notebooks. Each page was a letter written to me about how much he’s in love with me. We’ve been dating for three years now, and Austin’s love still GMH.

My 22 year old sister is in a wheelchair. Her best friend of 20 years, took her to a party recently and her favourite song came on. She said “I wish I could dance to this song.” Her best friend picked her up and said “Your wish is my command,” and whirled her around. He then put her in her wheelchair, and proposed to her. His love of 20 years GMH!

I was rushed into hospital as I had a severe asthma attack which left me in a coma for 24 hours. When I woke up, a popular boy at school was beside my bed and comforted me. I had never spoke to him, but always fancied him. When I was discharged, my mum drove me and him to my house, and all my friends were there. He planned it all. He GMH.
I should probably get some sleep because I have to babysit at 9 in the morning, then rush to my soccer game, then come home and prepare for prom.
Oh and my day turned around when I went to get my nails done with some friends. :)
I have silver fingernails and a french pedicure on my toes. I like it! :)
Oh, and dude. I bought some sickkkkk shoes. I mean SICK.

My father died a couple of years ago. My mom’s new boyfriend listens to all our stories, still lets my mom wear her wedding ring, lets my mom keep pictures of him on the walls and he even celebrates my dad’s birthday with us. We were talking about stories we shared with my father, and he even cried with us. He doesn’t know my dad. His kindness GMH

Last weekend my friend Sean died in a drunk driving accident. His family wanted to release 99 Red Balloons at his funeral with messages attached. They were worried there wouldn’t be enough people to write messages. Yesterday, 300+ red balloons were released over Detroit sending messages of love to Sean. GMH.
